Terms of Service
These terms govern access to the Fresh Table Academy website, educational materials, enquiry forms and online learning services.

1. About these terms
These Terms of Service apply to freshtableacademy.sg, the public pages, forms, newsletters, downloadable information and online educational services made available by Fresh Table Academy. Fresh Table Academy is based at 42 Cecil Street, Singapore 049704. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Fresh Table Academy. “You” means the person accessing the website or using a service and, where relevant, an organisation on whose behalf that person acts.
Please read these terms before using the website. If you do not agree, do not submit a form, create an account or use restricted course content. The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy describe related information practices and form part of the website governance framework. Separate written enrolment information may specify course dates, access periods, fees, cancellation arrangements and learning requirements. If a direct conflict exists, the more specific course terms apply to that course to the extent of the conflict.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must have legal capacity to agree to the relevant terms or act with the authority of a parent, guardian or organisation. The public website is intended primarily for adults. Participation by a minor may require additional consent and supervision arrangements. If you use the website for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to communicate and, where applicable, enter into arrangements on its behalf.
You must provide accurate information and must not impersonate another person, misrepresent authority or use another person’s contact details without an appropriate basis. We may ask for reasonable verification before processing a sensitive request, granting restricted access or acting on an instruction that affects an account.
3. Educational purpose and important disclaimer
Fresh Table Academy provides general education about cooking methods, recipes, ingredient preparation, kitchen organisation and meal planning. The website and courses do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, nutritional therapy, allergy assessment, legal advice or another regulated individual professional service. Nothing on the website creates a practitioner-patient, dietitian-client or similar professional relationship.
Recipes and educational examples cannot account for every allergy, intolerance, health condition, dietary requirement, equipment difference, ingredient variation or household circumstance. You are responsible for deciding whether a recipe, ingredient, substitution or activity is suitable for you and others. Seek appropriate qualified advice where an individual health or dietary decision requires it.
No statement, testimonial, course description or educational example guarantees a personal health, performance, financial or lifestyle outcome. Cooking results vary with ingredients, tools, technique, environment and experience. Student stories describe individual experiences and should not be interpreted as typical or promised results.
4. Food safety and kitchen responsibility
Cooking involves heat, blades, electrical equipment, allergens, raw ingredients and other ordinary risks. You are responsible for using suitable equipment, maintaining a safe workspace, supervising children, following manufacturer instructions and complying with current official food-safety guidance. Do not attempt a technique where you lack appropriate tools, physical ability, supervision or understanding.
Check ingredient labels and cross-contact risks yourself. Storage periods, temperatures and handling practices may vary according to the ingredient, appliance, packaging and current official guidance. General tips in our materials do not override a product label, safety alert, recall or authoritative instruction. Stop an activity if conditions appear unsafe.
5. Website access and acceptable use
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to access the public website for lawful personal or internal organisational information purposes. You must not:
- use the website to violate law, infringe rights, harass another person or distribute harmful, deceptive or unlawful content;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to a server, account, form endpoint, storage area or another user’s information;
- introduce malware, automated attacks, excessive requests or code intended to disrupt, probe or degrade the service;
- scrape, harvest or systematically extract content or contact details except as permitted by law and our written consent;
- bypass access controls, copy restricted course material for redistribution or share account credentials;
- remove copyright, trade mark, attribution or rights notices;
- misrepresent an affiliation with Fresh Table Academy or use our branding in a way likely to confuse others; or
- use the website content to build or train a competing commercial content product without permission where such permission is required.
We may restrict access, block requests, suspend an account or preserve relevant evidence where we reasonably believe misuse, a security threat or a material breach has occurred.
6. Enquiries, registration and formation of an enrolment
Submitting a contact or course-registration form is a request for information. It does not by itself create a confirmed place, purchase, payment obligation or contract for a paid course. We may respond with intake availability, format, fees if applicable, access terms and the steps required to confirm enrolment. A binding enrolment arises only through the process and acceptance stated in that communication.
This website intentionally has no shopping cart or instant payment checkout. Do not send payment-card details in a general form. If payment is later applicable, use only the channel identified in official enrolment correspondence and verify unexpected payment instructions with us through a known contact method.
We may decline an enquiry or enrolment where a course is unavailable, information is incomplete, participation would be unsafe or inappropriate for the educational format, misuse is suspected or another reasonable operational reason applies. We will not discriminate unlawfully.
7. Course access, learner conduct and support
Course access is personal to the registered learner unless group terms state otherwise. You must keep credentials secure and notify us of suspected unauthorised use. Access duration, supported platforms, scheduled sessions and downloadable resources are described in the relevant enrolment material. Internet access, a compatible device, ordinary kitchen equipment and ingredients are generally the learner’s responsibility.
During classes, forums or support interactions, communicate respectfully, protect the privacy of other learners and avoid sharing confidential or unnecessary sensitive information. Do not record a live session, copy another learner’s contribution or publish private group content without appropriate permission. We may moderate, remove content or restrict participation to protect the learning environment.
Support is educational and limited to the scope of the course. We may answer questions about technique, workflow, course access and the intended use of materials. We cannot provide emergency support, individual medical or allergy advice, or guarantee an immediate response outside stated business hours.
8. Intellectual property
The website design, text, original illustrations, videos, course modules, worksheets, recipes as expressed, brand elements and other materials are owned by or licensed to Fresh Table Academy and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. General ideas, methods and facts may not be protected in the same way as the original expression, selection, arrangement and presentation.
Unless separate terms say otherwise, a registered learner receives a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view course materials and download designated resources for personal, non-commercial learning during the stated access period. You may print a reasonable number of copies for your own household use. You may not resell, upload, publish, translate for distribution, create a competing course from, provide shared public access to or commercially exploit substantial parts of the materials without written permission.
You retain rights in original content you submit. By sending a question or voluntary contribution through a course channel, you permit us to use it as reasonably necessary to provide, moderate and improve the service. We will request additional permission before using an identifiable testimonial publicly, unless a separate submission process clearly states otherwise.
9. User submissions and feedback
You are responsible for the legality, accuracy and appropriateness of content you submit. Do not upload content that infringes another person’s intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality or other rights. Do not include malware, promotional spam or misleading claims.
If you voluntarily send general feedback or suggestions about the website or course, we may use the underlying ideas to improve our services without an obligation to compensate you, provided we do not thereby claim ownership of your pre-existing protected work. Personal data within feedback remains governed by the Privacy Policy.
10. Availability, changes and technical limitations
We aim to keep the website useful and available but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or universally compatible operation. Maintenance, hosting failures, network events, security issues, legal requirements and circumstances beyond reasonable control may cause delay or interruption. We may change, suspend or discontinue a page, feature or free resource.
For an enrolled course, material changes affecting an active learner will be handled according to the applicable course terms and law. We may update educational content to improve clarity, reflect ingredient availability, correct errors or respond to safety and operational concerns. Minor changes do not necessarily create a right to a different service.
11. External links and third-party services
Links to external sites are provided for convenience or reference. We do not control their content, availability, security, data practices or offers and do not endorse every statement merely by linking. You use external services under their own terms.
A course may rely on a third-party video, communication or learning platform. Any material provider-specific requirements will be identified where relevant. We remain responsible for our own obligations but are not responsible for an independent provider’s act beyond the extent imposed by applicable law or our direct arrangements.
12. Warranties and limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that rule, the public website and free educational content are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not warrant that every item is complete, current for every circumstance, free from all errors or suitable for a particular individual purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fresh Table Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential loss arising from use of the public website, inability to access it, reliance on general educational content or use of an external link. We are not responsible for loss caused by a user’s unsafe kitchen practice, failure to consider allergies, disregard of official guidance, unauthorised account sharing or submission of sensitive information through an inappropriate channel.
Where liability relating to a paid service cannot be excluded but may be limited, any limitation will be addressed in the course-specific terms and applied only to the extent fair and lawful. This section does not excuse fraud, wilful misconduct or another liability that applicable law does not permit us to limit.
13. Indemnity for misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for reasonable losses, claims, costs and expenses incurred by Fresh Table Academy as a direct result of your unlawful use, deliberate security attack, infringement of third-party rights or material breach of these terms. This provision will not apply to the extent a loss was caused by our own breach or negligence, and it does not require a consumer to assume liability that cannot lawfully be imposed.
14. Privacy and communications
Our collection and handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Cookie and browser-storage practices are described in the Cookie Policy. By submitting a form, you request a response using the contact details supplied. Newsletter communication is sent only according to the applicable choice, and every promotional email should provide a practical unsubscribe method.
Operational communications necessary to answer an enquiry or administer an active course are different from optional marketing. You cannot unsubscribe from a message that is genuinely necessary to complete a request while still requiring us to perform that request, but you may withdraw the request subject to any applicable consequences.
15. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the public website at any time. For registered services, cancellation and access consequences are governed by the applicable enrolment terms. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, non-payment under agreed terms, serious or repeated misconduct, unlawful activity, credential sharing, infringement or a material breach that is not remedied after notice where notice is appropriate.
Provisions concerning intellectual property, accrued obligations, privacy, liability, disputes and any term intended by nature to survive will continue after termination. We may retain records where necessary for legal, security and legitimate business purposes in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
16. Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without prejudice to mandatory rights that may apply to a consumer in another jurisdiction. The parties should first attempt to resolve a concern in good faith by written communication. Send a detailed notice to [email protected] and allow a reasonable opportunity to investigate and respond.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the courts of Singapore will have non-exclusive jurisdiction unless applicable law requires another forum or the parties agree to an appropriate alternative process. Nothing prevents either party from seeking urgent relief where necessary to protect confidential information, intellectual property, security or safety.
17. General provisions
If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not assign restricted account or course rights without our consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a legitimate reorganisation or business transfer, subject to applicable law and without reducing accrued learner rights.
Headings are for convenience. Words such as “including” are illustrative rather than limiting. Electronic notices and records may be used where legally effective. These terms, the incorporated policies and any specific written course terms constitute the relevant agreement concerning their subject matter and replace prior inconsistent statements.
18. Updates and contact
We may revise these terms to reflect service, operational or legal changes. The effective date identifies the current version. Material changes affecting an active paid course will be addressed in a manner consistent with applicable law and course-specific commitments. Use of the public website after publication is subject to the current terms, but a change will not retroactively remove an accrued legal right.
